Sunshine, Cake & Kindness: Culverhill Coffee Afternoon Raises £267 for the Alfie Nick Foundation

On Friday afternoon, Culverhill School braved the extreme heat to host their end-of-term coffee afternoon — and what a wonderful event it was! The sun was shining over the school field as students welcomed parents and carers with refreshments, cake, and plenty of smiles.

The students did a fantastic job taking the lead: serving cake and refreshments, chatting with guests, and showing real pride in their school community.

We were touched to be invited along as special guests and to learn that the school had chosen to donate funds raised on the day — a brilliant £267 — to the Alfie Nick Foundation. Their generosity will help us continue our mission to support children who need help the most.

Culverhill School provides high-quality, holistic education for 145 pupils aged 7 to 16 with complex learning difficulties. Based in South Gloucestershire, the school is known for its nurturing environment and unwavering commitment to each child’s development and wellbeing.
